The Wrong Way to Get Rid of Clutter

This is the light that I should have turned on.

These are the toys that I told my kids to throw down the basement stairs (really). Well, except for R2 D2, he's heavy.

This is the basket I carried down the stairs, without the light and full of toys.

This is the toy that I stepped on and crushed.

These are the stairs that I fell down last night.

No broken bones but definitely feeling it today. Lesson learned.

OH NO!!!!
I'm convinced that will happen to me one of these days. No matter how much I tell them the boys keep leaving toys on the stairs!!!
Ouch!
I hope you are okay!

Ouch!

You know you are a blogger when you start taking pictures of light switches and stairs. Just saying. ;)

That is crazy. I'm so glad nothing was broken. That is scary. I have a big fear of falling down the stairs.

This is a page out of my own life! I gated one section of our split stairway for the 1st time yesterday as my 10 mos. old is quite the stealth stair climber. I came flying down in the middle of the night and pulled a Barnum and Bailey Circus move as I hit the gate at the bottom! Sharing your pain this morning!

Yikes!

I think it's bound to happen to all of us...especially the sharp toys or the ones with edges! I'm glad you are okay.
