Chubba Chubba

A few days I wrote a post about how good I felt in my skin. I was wearing a swimsuit for the week and I felt good. I am woman, hear me roar. I have imperfections and I feel fine. Well, the vacation is over and so is my positive attitude.

My husband downloaded the family vacation photos. Ugh! The positive body image spirit has been sucked out of that bottle I wrote about.

I knew that I was a little heavier. I was pregnant for almost 3 months and ate every cupcake I could find. I knew I hadn't lost the weight yet. But when I saw the photos, I almost fell over. That is my tummy? That is my chub hanging over my shorts? Really? Really? You almost say to yourself "Why didn't someone tell me?" But of course I would have killed them had they said one word.

I will not post a picture of myself here for people to say I look great or fine. I will not make promises to myself or to my friends. I am just saying that something has to change here in Indyworld. Now, I am going to go and drink a delicious glass of water and head to bed.

That always sucks, to suddenly see pictures of yourself and realize you're not exactly what you thought you were, size-wise. I hear ya! Hang in there, you can do something about it! :o)

Bummer! Def. I realized that I hide from pictures post children. We should get a group together...on a mission....to widdle our waists a bit.

When ever there is a camera around, I take a deep breath in. SUCK IN. I swear, it takes care of 3 pounds.

As for working-out. I cant wait for school to begin.

I hope that whatever you had before, you get back again, and embrace what you have!

And, of course, vacations don't help!

It doesn't seem to matter how much weight I lose, the belly is just not the same after having Bear. I don't have any bikini pictures from the beach this year. The last time we went it was pretty much all bikini pictures frolicking in the water. SIGH!

Don't get too sad! Vacation always does it to me, because I don't eat well while I am there. Once you get back in your routine things will be OK! Clare

We all have those moments! I hope you are feeling better soon, and don't be too hard on yourself.

Oh, and I have to answer your question, yes, yesterday I found another cricket in the bathroom. I am SO hoping that was the last one!

The sucking in thing works pretty well. I find grabbing a kid helps too . . . .
