Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Dear McDonald's,

I want to thank you for today. We had an unbearable morning. We had plans for today. When we woke up, it was raining and are plans were canceled. There were many tears. There was a lot of yelling. We have had a lot of rain lately in Ohio and the kids are tired of all of our rainy activities. They do not want to paint, color, cut or make anymore cookies. They want to run and play.

You saved me by providing a place for them to run. Their tears turned into smiles. We ate lunch and they played for over an hour. I even got to read my book, Pillars of the Earth. In peace. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Indy
A very tired mom in Ohio

Hooray for indoor disease-festering playgrounds!

Oh - and don't forget about Chuck E Cheese as an alternative disease-festering playground.

I pray they don't come down with something. On top of the rain, I don't think I could handle it.

We had a lot of rain here too this weekend. It definitely put a damper on swimming and playing outside. It sounds like you still had a good time.

How are you liking Pillars of the Earth? I loved it I think I ignored my whole family for two weeks while I finished it! XO, Clare

Cute post! I heard Pillars is a great book!

And let me know how the whiteboards go! I've had so much fun with them.

glad to hear you were able to make the best of a rainy day. :) we have had quite a few t-storms, but thankfully most of our rain comes at night.. it is perfect... so i hope that if it continues to rain in Ohio it will start to follow the NY pattern and do it at night. :)

Here is to NO rain!! :)

xoxoxo
